Our Family Sandboarding Adventure in Essaouira

When planning our trip to Essaouira, we wanted to find an activity that would be fun for both adults and children. We came across Essaouira Sandboarding and decided to give it a try. Looking back, it was one of the best experiences of our entire holiday.

From the moment we met Simo, we felt welcomed and excited. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly patient with our children. Before starting, he explained everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.

The journey to the dunes was beautiful, with stunning views of the coastline and the Moroccan countryside. When we arrived, we were amazed by the scenery. The golden dunes stretching toward the Atlantic Ocean created a breathtaking landscape unlike anything we had seen before.

The sandboarding itself was so much fun. None of us had tried it before, but Simo made it easy to learn. The children quickly gained confidence and couldn’t stop laughing as they slid down the dunes again and again. Even the adults felt like kids for the day.

One thing that made the experience special was that it never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to enjoy the dunes, take photos, and simply appreciate the incredible surroundings. Simo also helped us capture some fantastic family pictures that we will treasure for years.

After the activity, we relaxed with traditional Moroccan mint tea while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the dunes. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
